Humanoid robots could be useful for flexible production. But they will always be less efficient for mass production than dedicated machine designs.

Exactly. Atleast to some small extent, humanoid robots mirror the hype of AGI.

I still don't understand the purpose of humanoid robots. Assembly line and logistics already have robots with specialised design which the human body can't match. Tphuang shared a shaving video and I feel like there is no need to automate shaving. Any man should atleast learn to shave.
They are pure hype in my opinion.
Venture capitals want humanoids because of Elon Musk.
