Walking robots make no sense, so much effort devoted to simple motion, when a wheeled bottom chassis would work better. Can keep the upper half for manipulation.

Hard to go up and down stairs or navigate in mountainous or outdoors.
The main use case for most of these are factory floors, which is in the interest of the manufacturer to make as flat and easy to traverse as possible. A wheeled system would be much more efficient and cost effective.

I think he is talking about context in an auto factory, which has mostly flat ground.
in factories, wheeled robots make more sense. Agibot Raise A2-W is like that. Basically an AMR that have arms instead of forklift.

In this case, it seems like Ubtech wants 1 common robot that it can mass produce.

I think it would help if the robot could walk faster.
