report of H-8 bomber

Wow, that look like a B-2 spirit. IF H-8 is indeed being developed, it will be a huge addition to Plaaf strike capability.
Afterall, H-6 cannot hope to survive in a 21st century warfare.
I've read that an American Engineer worked for (northrop) of Pakistani desent sold information about B-2 spirit's design blueprint to china and was later arrested in hawaii for espionage.
Can anyone confirm that?

Not "look alike", that IS a B-2 Spirit bomber. I have no idea why Phonex TV decided to use a B-2 photo on that news, plus it's probably a purely fabricated news anyway. The Chinese authority has quickly denied such program exists

I still think that B1-B or Tu-160 equivalent is more likely. Though a stealth bomber would have certain benefits when considering cross straits scenarios.

China is still very far away from producing something like B1-B or Tu-160. China lacks the experiences to build a large airplane, and they don't have the capable engines to fit on the strategic bomber, especially not for supersonic bombers. IMO the best option for China on the short/mid-term is do develop some capable long range cruise missile and fit those missiles on their existing H-6 bombers.

What are you talking about there is no capable engines for China? WS-10A is already a capable engine that is usable to fit into a B2 type of bomber. The B1 bomber flying wing is not a remarkable plane in terms of ground breaking technology. The original idea already existed in Germany during WWII. The German's already study the idea of a flying wing and worked out the physics. Americans used the German study to built the B2 flying wing. If in WWII people are already capable of building a flying wing, 70 years later, I would think that China would already have the ability to build a flying wing type of bomber. At least there is the logic to think so.

This sort of B-2 aircraft seems to ficticious to me.
Give the fact that the original H-8 project was a Badger on steroids I'd rather say that PLAA is at least 10 to 25 years away from having such a thing.
Not inquiring that China cannot produce this since they copied everything from plastic dolls to ferraris but given the fact it took 50 years of research in stealth technology to the United States reach the B-2 we can assure that since China didn't developed an indigenous Strategic Bomber yet the chance of the given picture being real is de facto microscopic unless the Indian engineer gave a "Dummies guide to build your own stealth bomber" because even with the best scientists it takes several decades to master a technology you never came across before.
In my opinion China is indeed developing a Long-Range Heavy Bomber but of a much more traditional design and layout if there's any further information about a "Chinese Spirit" then we shall consider it more seriouly. Until then we cannot trust the words of a single source.

Maybe, but the roots seems to be from the B-70 and T-10, but with a chiseled figure, of course.
