How do you guys draw so well and fast?!

And Panstir has a range of 20km? I thought it was just 12km?
Been a bit busy lately.....
Here is what I'd put in China's new corvettes and OPVs:

Common hull, 100m long, 9.5m wide, About 1200tonnes displacement. Diesel propulsion with hidden exhaust.

Corvette:
57/76mm main gun (China makes its 57mm gun, though I don't know if they can turn it into GP like Sweden; the 76mm is imported...)
HQ-7 SAM
2 Type 730 CIWS (1 front, 1 back)
Up to 8 YJ-8X missiles-or-6 SY-2A -or-ASROC missiles armed with Yu-7/A.244S torpedoes
Hangar for 1 light chopper(Z-9C likely)
-Optional-
Torpedo launchers
small MLRS
Depth Charges (mortars?)

OPV:
57/76mm main gun
2 Type 730 CIWS combined with LD-2000 (1 front, 1 back)
Up to 6 .50 and/or 25mm HMGs
Depth Charges (mortars?) (Defence against subs)
Water cannons
2 search lights (1 front, 1 back)
Submarine ROVs and dinghies
Hangar for 1 light chopper(Z-9C likely)
-Optional-
YJ-7s

As for the Jianghus, cannabilise the 3s and 5s, and scrap the rest.
------------
PS. Baltic Sea area is calm? I thought that place is a dangerous area of water?
But have you travelled across the area in a monohull?

And has any of our Aussie friends travl to Tasmania? How was the ride?

Here's my Jianghu replacement design, based on the 054A & 052B. All systems are either currently in use by PLAN or avail from Russian export catalog. This ship is designed for 2-week endurance and not intended for extended "blue water" operations.

Basic Ship Parameters:
Displacement: ~2,000-2,500 tons
Length: ~100+m
Beam: 13-14m
Draught: 3-4m
2-shaft CODAG diesel + gas turbine, 4 x 450 kW diesel generators
Speed: economical 14 kts, max 27-28 kts
Endurance: 14 days
Crew: ~100

GP (General Purpose) version:

Sensors:
Fregat-MAE/M2EM radar
Band stand radar
2-4 x MR-90 Orekh (Front Dome) radar
MGK-335EM-03 sonar with optional Vinyetka-E towed sonar array
ZJK-5x combat management system

Weapons:
76mm gun
2 x Type 730 CIWS guns
2 x 4-cel YJ-83 SSM
Shtil-1 SAM system with 24 round magazine
2 x 3 Yu-7 Torpedos
2-4 x Domestic 18-barrel MLRS
Pallada combat swimmer detection system with 2 x DP-65 grenade launchers
+ few MG's, MANPADs

Aviation:
1 Helicopter + Hanger

ASW Version:

Sensors:
Fregat-MAE/M2EM radar
Band stand radar
MGK-335EM-03 sonar
Vinyetka-E towed sonar array
ZJK-5x combat management system

Weapons:
76mm gun
2 x Type 730 CIWS guns
8-cel Kalibr-NKE (Club-N) VLS system for SSM & ASROC
8-cel Paket-E/NK ASW & anti-torpedo box launcher
RKPTZ-1E (Udav-1) system with 2x KT-154E 10-barrel MLR
2-4 x domestic 18-barrel MLR (chaff/decoy)
Pallada combat swimmer detection system with 2 x DP-65 grenade launchers
+ few MG's, MANPADs

Aviation:
1 helicopter + hanger

OPV/Export OPV Version:

Sensors:
Domestically made radar (Type 363S & MR36A?)
Domestically made fire-control radar
Domestic bow or hull-mounted sonar
ZJK-5x combat management system

Weapons:
76mm gun
2 x Type 730 CIWS
1 x HQ-7A
2-4 Domestic 18-barrel MLRS

Aviation:
1 helicopter + hanger

Special equipment: on-board emergency medical facility

===========

It's assumed that the Shtil-1 SAM will be upgraded with VLS SAM, and CIWS with ADGMS when avail.

Question:

What is the weight and space requirement difference between Shtil-1 SAM system + magazine vs. HQ-7 with automatic (retractable) reloader + under-deck magazine?

Just a quick size/config comparison between various current in-service (or solid orders) corvette designs from around the world:

Here's another sketch, this one based on the French BGV high-speed trimaran hull form:
{real BGV corvette design, not likely to enter service and personally I doubt its stealth}
bgvio8.gif

Estimated displacement for my design is 1,500t, and just over 100m in length. I haven't drawn any weapons on it yet, but I was thinking a mix of YJ-62s (x 4, pop-up behind helipad), 2 x AK-630 CIWS, 2 x 4 QW-4 SAMs and 16 x PL-12 derived SAM. Plus a 2 x 25mm/grenade turrets and lastly 2 x triple YU-7s. The ASW version would ditch the YJ-62s in favour of the much smaller SS-N-29 ASW missiles (x8) plus towed sonar.

Neither version would have a hanger.

At this displacement I am hard pressed to get the sensors needed onto the hull whilst maintaining reasonable stealth. I think I need to enlarge it to about 130m/3500t, at which point it deserves a hanger.

Here's the 3000t version. A cool feature is the flush phased-array fire control radars under (and in front of but not visible) the QW-4 for the PL-12.
