Dude, you are so, like...yesterday.

Early in the administration of the "chosen one," ... he who would cause the rising waters to recede and the planet to heal...they changed that old tired (and demonstrably disproven) terminology.

It's Global Climate Change now...that way, no matter what happens, they can blame it on us "evil capitalists", and the "ignorant emerging nations", and make more billions off of the useful idiots who they sucker in to that poppycock.

AFB just possessed Jeff!

Guys, you've reported and compliant a lot about extreme weather in your area. What I am really interested to know is "what is your most desired temperature?" My conform zone is 20+ degree C (something between 70 degree F to 85 degree F).

I love the early fall here. When the highs are in the 50s and the lows in the 30s. Not freezing yet, but clear weather and a little brisk in the morning and pleasantly cool during the afternoons.

To me somewhere between 60F(15.5C) and 75F(24C) is fine. Cold really does not bother me so much.. but hot weather is very uncomfortable to me.

As of this minute (0808) it is 14F (-10C) in Cedar Rapids IA.. down right balmy! :)

Yes!

A light south wind came up in the night here and we only got down to -2 F this morning. Maybe break into the double digits (mid teens) for a high today! But usually when it warms up like this after a real cold spell...look out for snow.

They are now forecasting more snow on Thursday night as the temps warm into the upper 20s.

My friend, I am a dyed in the wool, native Texan...born and raised.

I have a lot of family down around Houston, where my Mom was raised.

I have quite a bit of extended family all over central Texas, from Hutto,Texas up past Taylor, Texas to Waco. More direct family all around the DFW area.

My Dad came to Texas from Alabama (where his family moved to after 1st coming to South Carolina in the late 1600s and then moving to Georgia when it became a colony in the 1730s), after he got home from World War II (mainly because he had met my Mom while he was studying at Rice University before the war).

My Mom's Dad came to Texas in the early 1900s from Austria, and my Mom's mother's family came to Texas from the Slovak regions of Europe in the mid to late 1800s.

I am the epitomy of the person you can take out of Texas but never, ever take the Texan out of them.

I'm just up here in Idaho spreading the good word.

LOL!
