You have to think about it in another way:

If everyone kept his old comics, would they worth a fortune now?

Very true of course. Rarity and price often goes hand in hand. Imagined if say people can send messages back in time( 1930s) and they tell everyone Superman #1 is worth millions of dollar$ in 2013. .

Well guess what? that comic would be worth about a quarter in 2013 instead of million$..

Yep, because everyone that collects comics would have one..maybe.

It's raining.. has been off and on since Sunday night. They say we've got about four inches of rain since then..

Our internet service went out this morning about 1130am...My wife just called me and told me it was back up and running. Good...we've had century link for about two+ years and this is only our second outage. I think here at work we have mediacom.

I was in the middle of posting some pictures when it happened. No worries I'll re-post them from home later. Can't use imgur at work. The state of Iowa has it blocked claiming that it is Porn..:(

In the last two days we got 3.93 inches of rain. last week we got about the same amount. Our normal rainfall for April is about 3 inches. The ground is saturated. There's minor flooding all over our part of Iowa. I'm not affected.

There's a light rain right now. We do get the sun about once a week...

Today we went grocery shopping. I always notice a lot of folks wearing blue jeans. Why? I do not own any blue jeans. Why?

1) I don't like them.Never have. too warm for me.

2) I'm allergic to the denim dye. No foolin'. Makes me break out in a rash.

For real...wow? For me I wore them because they are sturdy and you don't have to iron them after washing, plus denim are more stylish and flexible with any kind of shirts to go with it.

Yep..can't stand 'em..I remember when I first moved here folks here knew I was different by how I dressed...

1) I don't wear blue jeans.
2) I don't wear sandals.
3) I don't wear t-shirts outdoors. Yep.
4) I wear a shirt with a collar outside of my home.
5) I always have a wrist watch.
6) I always carry a handkerchief.
7) I always have a t-shirt under my regular shirt.
8) I never go outside without shoes on.

These habits grew from growing up with my dad. A real stickler for appearance.

When I was a kid ya' never knew when my dad would ask me if I had a handkerchief. I remember once in Sears he turned around and asked me.."Boy, where's your handkerchief?" You best believe I produced one.

..no foolin'.

We are doing pretty well in Texas compared with '11 and '12 as well. Getting rain every week now. Hopefully it will persist through summer.
