The first diamond nitrogen vacancy color center maser in China was successfully developed
on April 11 that China Electronics Technology Group Corporation officially announced today that its research team from the Industrial Basic Research Institute, in collaboration with the research team from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has successfully developed a high-sensitivity integrated diamond nitrogen vacancy color center quantum magnetometer and
the country's first diamond nitrogen vacancy color center microwave maser .
"The solid-state quantum spin system of the diamond nitrogen vacancy color center has the advantages of easy initialization and readout, controllability, and long coherence time. It has great application prospects in the fields of quantum precision measurement and quantum computing." Technical experts from the scientific research team of the Institute of Industrial Basics said that after years of hard work,
they have successfully developed an integrated diamond quantum magnetic sensor with a sensitivity reaching the international advanced level, and the maximum quantum oscillation power of the diamond nitrogen vacancy color center microwave maser has reached the international leading level .
Subsequently, the technical team will further promote the performance improvement and integration of sensors, and promote the industrialization of quantum sensors based on solid-state spin systems, which will be applied in industrial nondestructive testing, geological resource exploration, deep space communications, biological testing, materials research and other fields.
