No, hand polishing everything is crazy and shouldn’t be needed.
Were they hand-polishing every gun? It didn't look anything related to the firearms rather instead looked like one of those solid firing tools to test accuracy. Besides, it's physically impossible to hand polish every gun and still achieve the amount that is already in use and that's not even including common sense into the equation. Either they are polishing something entirely different or it was just for the camera crew.

That magazine looks enormous
Like the whole size of the guy's forearm.
It also doesn’t seem to have the right curve. It looks flatter. More like a 5.56. The 5.8x42mm has an AK like curve more dramatic due to the cartridge tapper. But a 556 magazine shouldn’t be that big. Maybe a 308? Or a Shotgun? Or someone got busy with the 3D printer again.

That is 100% a shotgun mag. You can tell by how massive the mag is in relation to the rest of the gun.
