Conveniently if China holds a VJ Day military parade every decade from here on out then together with the National Day military parade we will effectively get a Chinese military parade every 4 and 6 years. Enough time between each one to potentially see something new every time!
I think that just might happen. a VJ military parade every decade might just be the ''new normal''.

It will be great to have a military parade every 5 years for us military Enthusiasts to see what's being updated without guessing all the time. I think 10 years is way too long to wait. We humans don't have that many 10 years even our whole life time. Not to mention you have to remove the years when we are too young or too old to care about the parade. We probably only get to see maybe 6-8 parades until we are all gone.

I will never be to old to watch.In fact I will be happy going to my grave knowing that they cannot be messed with.

At the same time as technology progresses a lot of deterrence relies on things most civilians can't "watch", such as whatever goes on in space and cyberspace. And as it has always been, the best deterrence is all-around competence in economics, politics, science, philosophy, as well as the military.
