Interviewer (Gorislav Papić):
All right, Croatia began modernizing its army earlier than Serbia.
Aleksandar Vučić:
They began right after Operation Storm, in a great surge and enormous enthusiasm. That is when they began more serious modernization. I would not underestimate the Serbian army today, as we usually do, but I want even less to underestimate those who are making military alliances against us.
That military alliance is directed directly against Serbia. There is no other reason why that military alliance was created. And then they were astonished when they saw that we have missiles. That was the news from two days ago. They were surprised: since when does Serbia have those hypersonic ballistic missiles? I told you, and I said it on your program, that we have things we do not show. Why would we show everything? This was photographed by chance.
Interviewer (Gorislav Papić):
So these are missiles that were actually produced by China, which Pakistan bought before Serbia, the only one before Serbia, as far as I have now been able to read. They are also very expensive, over one and a half million euros each, I think.
Aleksandar Vučić:
They are terribly expensive. If we look at the price Pakistan paid China, we got a small discount, but they are terribly expensive and terribly effective missiles.
Interviewer (Gorislav Papić):
And what kind of missiles are we talking about?
Aleksandar Vučić:
The CM-400. These are air-to-ground missiles. That is, you strike targets on the ground from the air. What our success consisted of, and I truly congratulate our engineers and our people who managed to do it, as we have done in many other systems, is that we successfully carried out the integration of a Chinese missile onto a Russian fourth-generation MiG-29 fighter.
And today these are the best-equipped MiGs in all of Europe, and I assume in the whole world as well. An air-to-ground missile means that you strike targets on the ground. These missiles of destructive power, the CM-400, depending also on their weight, which goes up to 950 kilograms, can strike targets at distances of up to 200 and up to 400 kilometers. We have a significant number of these missiles, and we will have even more.
Interviewer (Gorislav Papić):
Reportedly, these missiles, I read, were used in the conflict between Pakistan and India.
Aleksandar Vučić:
And they proved themselves.
Interviewer (Gorislav Papić):
And that they destroyed the Indian S-400 air defense system?
Aleksandar Vučić:
They destroyed the S-400 radar system. Chinese weapons proved exceptional there, in that short conflict between Pakistan and India. It was seen, of course, through their eyes, Chinese eyes, through satellites, where they managed to knock out the French radar, and where they managed to knock out, they did not destroy the S-400, only the S-400 radar system. There they showed something truly incredible.
Interviewer (Gorislav Papić):
If the Indians later denied that...
Aleksandar Vučić:
Here, I am telling you the real news, because we deal with this. That is our job. I am the supreme commander and I read those reports, so I know. Therefore, we have much more that you have not seen, and we are acquiring much more, and we will continue to acquire it.
