IIRC, PLA has shown either powered torso exoskeletons like the ones above, or unpowered leg exoskeletons we have seen before. It seems natural to combine the two kinds for even better performance. Or would it be too clumsy too complex?

100% certain they've had ideas for it. I don't believe we've seen a full-body one yet, but I have seen powered arm and torso combo ones.

I think the autonomous exoskeletons in Wandering Earth 2 are probably the most realistic and close to achievable, given recent advances in robotics.

Turns out the exoskeletons in the movie were donated by the company called ULS Robotics in Shanghai. I searched "autonomous exoskeletons in Wandering Earth 2" in google and found this
