There are some new photoes of 892 with HQ-10/FL-3000 but I don't remember seeing any recent photoes of 891.

don't think so, it's just talking about a new common VLS systems. The one on 054A was developed and tested a while ago.

We will see when it gets deployed.

We haven't seen this on any test ships, so I can only assume it's at PLAN test range somewhere.

Right...
the fact that it is in land test only not on ship yet, (or at least we haven't seen them)
means either it is not the 054A VLSs but something bit new.

OR

The HHQ-16 VLS that 054A carries shots blanks and only mean to scare people.

which can happen as PLAN has done it before on its LUDA

Hope they have something the size of HQ-16 and performance of HQ-9 or better.

Then they can refit the type 054As too.
