Yes. Now both Ukrainian built Zubrs are in service. We are waiting now for the two Chinese built ones to be on trials, get their pennant numbers, and be placed in service.Qsdet from CJDBY reported today that 3326 has been handed over to PLAN. 3326 was the second Zubr delivered from Ukraine, it reached China on 2014 March 31st for further fitting.

I agree.Yes, China has invest a great deal buying the technology, building the factory and that support ship.
The tech and factory especially, are sunk costs and huge investments and it makes little sense to build all that if China does not intend to build more of these ships, or at a minimum, use the tech and baseline design to develop variants.
Anyone know the operating costs of hovercraft like these? Maybe could be the basis for an ultrafast patrol corvette that can keep up and outpace US LCS and pack enough punch to face one off?
Such an asset could be very useful in the SCS, especially the shallows where even LCS might struggle to navigate.
