Yes that is a Type 052D but the second one has already been launched last year in december, not sure if this is it or the 3rd one
Looking at that mini bus and VW Passat seems like a Chinese government/military delegation is visiting, I've seen these kind of visits at Kamra base not sure if the same would apply here though

Too bad its sonar hardware hasn't been upgraded.

The 3rd Type 052C Changchun are based to Dingai/Zhoushan/6 Flot Destr/ESF with 3 Luda Hefai-132, Chongqing-133, Zunyi-134 and 6 frigates.
After the 3 others T052C build : 151 Zhengzhou, 152 Jinan,153 Xi'an are affected here for replace Luda.
For ASW missile some have mentioned a new for VLS of Type 052D.

PLAN wasted precious time. They could have commisioned 8 of 052C's by now if they didnt stop building. Or they should've sped up the 052D and have 3 of them commisioned by now. At least they have enough modern FFG's.
