Simply gorgeous. Dubai eat your heart out with your Palm artificial islands. I bet China could construct one if they wanted to as well.
Wow, is that a string of Arabic straddling the palm tree?

Light house is important in marine routes, it gives warning of unseen danger in submerged reef/ low rised rocks, it also complements GPS/ Beidou.
Totally correct, especially in shallow reef in South China Sea .... lighthouse is extremly important, so China is doing a favour for everybody for freedom of navigation
Now back to some pictures of the islands. These were taken early this month. In the last 3 weeks, there would have been further developments. Enjoy!
By the way, the dates at the bottom of the pics are in the format CCYY-MM-DD.
Chigua (Johnson South) Island. It's fast becoming a little village. That white building is estimated to have 9 floors.

Dongmen (Hughes) Island. Also has a massive new building adjacent to the original outpost.

Huayang (Cuateron) Island.

View of Yongshu (Fiery Cross) Island. In this picture, the airstrip is almost complete.

Zhubi (Subi) Island. There could be another airstrip on this island.

These artificial islands being built by the Chinese!..........Do we know how many of them are being built at the present time?
Their speed of construction is amazing, and the amount of preparation work for this must of been started quite sometime ago, maybe the turn of this century. What a huge effort that has obviously been put into this.
The budget must be quite astronomical.............i presume these islands projects have a separate budget, and are not included in the main armed forces budget?
With all the noise about how China now has "mobile artillery" on apparently at least one of its reclaimed SCS islands, has there been any actual evidence made public? Photos or video? Exactly what kind of weapons are they, MRLs or AAAs?
