as I know, the turkish navy ordered a 27.000 ts helo-carrier, based at spanish JUAN CARLOS I and australian Canberra-class; lenght arround 230 m to be build at turkish Sedef Yard. The ship should host ~ 11 Helos and up to 7 STOVL fighters (expect F-35B), 1.400 Soldiers or (if needed) a small hospital.

Chinese PLAN - as I know - don't have STVOL planes, so they could think about using light-wight ground attack planes supporting landing operations. So the opportunitiy is to build "helo-carriers" < 30.000 ts also to host ground-attack planes like the JL-15. The aircraft has six (four under-wing and two wingtip)
to carry various
and
weapons. If necessary, it can serve in the lightweight attack role with minor modifications, carrying up to 3 tons of armament.
To accept this possibility means: PLAN could think about amphibious carriers including angled deck, operating this fighters. And indeed - the HMAS Melbourne is in this class to host planes like
JL-15 [which could be compared to (brazil) Skyhawks].
The flight-deck and blueprints of HMAS Melbourne could be used to construct this kind of helocarrier.
