That does look like an M20 or DF-21 TEL. Check with recent earlier preceding posts on the thread.

M20 is 7.8m long and .75m in diameter, if this new missile is close to the M20 in dimensions, that might in paper fit a U-VLS.

Wonder whether the CM-401 has any relation to the CM-400AKG?

Unlike the air-breathing YJ series, both are essentially anti-ship ballistic missiles that dive into the target during terminal phase.

to me it look similar to BP-12 which is part of B-611 family tree and If I am not wrong SY-400 is also one of the
derivative of this family which further lead to the development of CM-400AKG
