Didn't doubters and naysayers question about this project as being the 001A aircraft carrier in the beginning? Only to realize bit by bit as the evidenced show that they were wrong. I mean you can disagreed with the article but don't underestimate China's ability.

I think some leaks are obviously closely coordinated with the military or even done by the military themselves, however I think that many naval leaks are done by private enthusiasts who know the rules of the game and what they are allowed and not allowed to reveal; I wouldn't call that the navy or military releasing information or pictures, but rather enthusiasts working within the boundaries set by the military which tolerates them.
We can also see that sometimes entire threads get deleted on some BBS when they broach certain topics, which suggests to me there are definitely times when security steps in on behalf of the military if things tilt towards more sensitive revelations of projects or info.

Sorry Forbin, but no offense French threads are boring. The only time I took interest in them are the Rafales, La Triumphante, French carrier and an occasional terrorist attack news. Bottom line, my point is that naysayers and doubter are quick to put down any article that show's a positive light on China's military development, while use any article to defend their narrative about China's "behind....lack of.." whatever justified their prejudice (now this doesn't mean you specifically) and we have seen quite a lot.
