personally i think the L-15 can be used to replace all the J-7's in service, think about it; it's super maneuverable and has digital quadruple fly-by-wire (FBW)!

it's not that bad, who knows if they can find a good enough radar for it, it can proably fire BVR and be used as ground strike, who knows maybe the L-15 will be the MiG-21 in the 21st Century

why would you replave all the j-7s in service? the plane in oudated and so is its concept. china should get a few of those new fc-1 with dsi intakes.

the l-15 looks like it can be a uav killer with its small size.

no, im saying they should retire them eventually, and not find a replcement for its role as a super-light fighter interceptor. go for more modern planes.

did you read the stats i posted?? look at the combat radius, the J-7E needs a drop tank while the L-15 doesn't those two are almost identical! except L-15 is modern and stealthy, i wouldn't call it light fighter too...it can carry more than the J-7E's
