affirmative those are "weapons" mounted on fuselage also fitted is a center line Drop tank and the foreword Electro optics the J10 has a listed 11 hard points six wing stations and five body stations which is about the norm for a modern ( generation 4-5) multi-role fighter, however in operation such a heavy load tends not too be used as that's a lot of drag and stress on the airframe especially when preforming maneuvers.

..and that sort of weapons load shortens missions because of increased fuel consumption due to the weight of the ordnance load.. An aircraft loaded like that would have to visit a tanker before returning from a mission.

Don't you mean 'JH-7'? Those don't look like fishbeds to me ;)

Yeah, i think a "H" was missing. However, very nice pix. You seldom see pix from below of the Flying Leopard.

I bet for most people, the bottom of a JH-7 would be the last thing they see ;) Great pics, bd popeye, where are they from? They don't look like the usual slightly fuzzy CCTV pics

I wasn't being sarcastic, I'm just not used to seeing super-high quality images outside ones from airshows!:D It reminds me I need to buy a new digital camera so I should go down to the Canada Aviation Museum and snap a few shots! (no Chinese aircraft unfortunately but they have a Lim-2)
