According to my understanding, the early version (maybe prototype, I'm not sure) has refueling probe, but the operational version has none. and the two seater version never have one. However, since it's a CG pix, they can draw whatever they want.

The J-10s at Zhuhai certainly had removable probes. The aircraft are operational ones assigned with the 44th Division.

I just found these on sina. Is this some sort of air show? I ask because I see crowds of people in the background.

I think the weapons are just a "mock-up" The paint job is way toooo smooth. It maybe made of wood.

Its not a mock up. You can see from the rivets its the real thing. A retired real thing that is. These are J-10 prototypes that have ended their life and has retired to become static displays. The smooth look is probably just the surface preparation, like generous paint primer. Paint primer if you are familiar with the handiman basics, is good for smoothing out a surface. One prototype is in display in front of CAC's building front office in Chengdu, another is in display in front of the AVIC building in Beijing.

Can anyone confirm what I see? In second picture, there are two bombs/missiles that are mounted on the belly behind the targeting/navigation pods? Are there two sets of weapon mounts on the belly of the J-10?
