there was an online poll a few months back to allow the public to decide on the new colour as many were complaining about the old one and the current design won that poll. as for 'China Airforce' its still there in chinese characters just that the english one was taken out. reason being, well, its chinese. you dont see english or american planes with chinese characters on them right haha
