according to new data for C-802CMK air to ground missile.
the 22o km range cruise missile uses thermal sight rather than radar. the target were preprogrammed, using DSMC to select the target.
the missile flight path are also pre- program , to confuse or decive the air defense ,also it was fitted with data link, this allow"man-on-the-loop" capability. image obtain by the camera can automatically down link to missile operator.

How common this type of LDGP are in PLAAF?

I remember seeing only few pics of J-10's dropping them, but I would assume those are quite common weaponry... no?

Common, JH7 carries them too, even J8II has demonstrated carrying them. They are not, however, carried by H6.

The PLA actually needs boatloads of budget for modernization to replace decades-old equipment which simply translates to China threat by CNN, BBC, WSJ, Economist, etc. The army has it the worst though compared to the airforce and navy.

I got the reference on the guided rockets; seems it's called LOGIR : Low cost Guided Imaging Rocket.

If it's to be used on 70mm it can be used on 80mm as wel i think; would make sense since larger warhead would also increase kill-probability.
Given the PLAAF affinity with rockets we can only assume a paralel development somwhere is likely, since it would be nonsense to risk multibillion airplanes to deliver simple rockets within te range of simple gunfire without even as much as a reasonable hitrate!

among the dusplay was dual seeker,CCD plus thermal imaging seeker, the missile small enough to fit in unguide rocket, could be the basic for fire and forget anti tank missile AFT-11.

The recent Zuhai 2012 air show in China unveiled a raft of new products and/or updates of existing designs, including the CM-400AK (SRAM style AGM), C802AKG (SLAM style AGM), and the anti-radiation version of the SD-10 etc.

Perhaps what was more surprising (for me) was the lack of more details or complete absence of some earlier concept designs in the air to air missile space that I'd expected. To the best of my knowledge there has been very little new information over the past 2 years regarding a new generation of missiles that will arm future PLAAF 4th (Chinese) / 5th (Western) generation fighters. Specifically, a Meteor-type long range ramjet powered equivalent, which I have previously seen referred to to the PL-12D (aka SD-10D), or the new design PL-21 and a short range infra red seeking AAM in the same class as the AIM-9X or IRIS-T, sometimes referred to as the PL-10/PL-ASR.

I realise that Zuhai is about generating a marketing buzz and that only hardware which is potentially available for export is showcased, but does anyone have any updates on this crucial area?

You should read the missiles section of huitong's site:

When things disappear from one Zhuhai after being displayed previously, it is either because the project has been cancelled or selected by the PLA.

However, I do not remember ever seeing any of the AAMs you have listed ever being displayed at Zhuhai before. That makes them exclusively PLA projects and as such, they will be far more secretive and selective about what they disclose and when.

Since most weapons testing, especially new weapons, are tested in remote bases, we will not know anything about these weapons that the PLA does not want us to know. I mean, have there been any pictures at all of many of the new PGMs before this year's show? And those are relatively low clearance projects the PLA allows for export.

I have a feeling we won't know for sure what stage of development these misses are at until the PLAAF starts to declassify them and/or as they are operationally deployed to frontline units.
