Venezuela was really stupid then. They know that they were opposed by United States, but still use their tech and bought F-16, LOL.
It’s the only plane type other than Su-30 they can get airborne (K-8 has no radar and BVR capable missiles). What choice do they have? Is Iran retarded for using F-14/F-5/F-4???
Well for one an anti stealth radar is not an omnipotent unblockable magic weapon. It’s your entire integrated system vs your opponent’s that matters. That’s why it’s called *integrated* air defense. Second, an anti stealth radar is not an insta-kill laser beam or missile homing system. It can see stealth fighters and you can still fail to complete a kill chain since the kill is dependent on your hand off to your interdiction options. It’s helpful to keep in front of mind a functional understanding of how this kind of equipment works when assessing jargon filled claims on social media.
