Should be short stroke... the weapon it seems to be based on (416) is a short stroke... also nowadays pretty much all Chinese gas operated rifles are short strokes (type 81, 95, 03, 191 etc)...

The first rifle in the foreground is the CS/LR35, which fires 7.62x51mm rounds. The rest are a different model firing .338 rounds.
It seems that the 338 model they're using has been modified. The stock is of a different design and the area around the magazine well seems to have been redesigned as well. That sight is way too high above the barrel. It is An additional 2-3" above iron sights which is already fairly high up.
