Besides the AR & pistols, I'm not sure I can think on top of my head any other firearm that has that feature at that time period.At 31:17, I like how this video shows the bolt hold open on the last round, and then bolt close button being used after reload. (although a lot of modern SMG have this)
I never understood why MP5 was designed to rack the bolt open first before reloading, and no one change this design when cloning it.

Bolt hold open actually already present on M1 Garand, M-14, MAS-49, Gewehr 43, SKS and EM-2.
