Calling it "Famas" Style is In my opinion a Disservice. The stock Famas Carry handle was devised in the 1970's It's a Polymer structure that has a U shaped profile that sits between the Iron sights acting as a cover for them. The Irons are in fact steel structures that are attacked to a tubular structure that sits around the free floating barrel.

The Famas handle lacks any kind of Rails on it's own. It does however have some screw holes meant for mounting a nightvision scope. In this way I feel it's more accurate to say the Stock QBZ95 and QBZ95-1 series are infact using a "Famas Style carry handle" Using these screw holes a rail system has been retrofitted into the handle simmilar to how some Early reflex scopes were used on the CAR 15.This style of retrofit however precludes use of the Famas Iron sights as it blocks them

When the French began work on the FELIN Soldier system they created a modification kit meant to allow for use the the large Electro optics kit this is the Famas felin version which has seen limited use.

However the French army seem dissatisfied with this set up.
Now lets look at the QBZ 95 Railed carry handle [Thanks to AZaz09dude, for the picture.]

This set up seems closer to the Felin then the stock Famas. It places the Rail between the Front and Rear posts.
