With MUAVs increasingly a threat, though still few soft kill countermeasures it seems like semiautomatic magazine fed shotguns may be on the verge of a renaissance.
I just the other day saw an advertisement for the US Fostech Origin 12 as a Counter UAS system, Russian troops have been Bubba modify AK rounds to shoot buck shot which could lead to more Saiga 12 in their ranks.
