Presumably that's 338 Norma right, not Lapua?.338 inch caliber machine gun
Variants you can see a couple behind the .338 (8.6x70mm) model. Are these machine guns available in 5.56 NATO, 7.62 NATO, and 7.62x39mm?
Likely their own. The Chinese were trying to develop their own iteration of 8.6x70mm for a number of years.Presumably that's 338 Norma right, not Lapua?
7.62x54R is rimmed so it's not a easy conversation depending on the design.Variants you can see a couple behind the .338 (8.6x70mm) model.
They may also be able to reconfigure to 7.62x54 or 7.62x51mm. Though there is a question of use case on that. Having a configuration using this receiver for 7.62x54R would make sense for the PLA as a training tool. It’s an established calibre the Chinese likely have stockpiled huge quantities and they have the ranges for it. However going smaller than that has a question of whether it’s worth it.

I believe both have been attempted according to credible weibo bloggers. The one on the show should be in 338 Norma.Presumably that's 338 Norma right, not Lapua?
