Do you prefer they made their own 7.62 round?@Aniah posted a video in the Infantry combat equipment thread
I saw some suppressed weapons there too. Does China has any subsonic use specific rounds in service like 9 x 39 Grom, 0.458 SOCOM, 0.300 BLK, etc ? Not that it is a very important capability but could be useful for specific occasions. For example, we know China adopted some crossbows during COIN ops in Xinjiang in the past. So there is definitely a cadre in the PLA who values silence.
Note: Though they could just subsonic load the 7.62 mm. As a side note I wish China didn't adopt 7.62 mm NATO.
They have a subsonic variant of 5.8x21mm pistol round.@Aniah posted a video in the Infantry combat equipment thread
