Yes and no. Yes in theory but the high mount creates a parallax issue. And even if you do your still likely to have to choose seeing through the nod vs the optic. Unless you have a second NOD on the rifle
Ahh thanks, but in reality does having a higher mount (say 15cm from the center of the barrel) create any serious issue as far as parallax is concerned? (for example when engaging within 400m, even I can figure out having a very high mount is not great for long-range shooting)Yes and no. Yes in theory but the high mount creates a parallax issue. Just asking out of curiosity, what is the point of laser sight if you already have an optical sight? With magnifiers, they make sense. But what a laser dot can provide that a good reticle can not?
Better peripheral more clarity and Laser dot are made for multiple occasions.
I heard they manufactured a batch of 5.8mm M4 to simulate enemy.View attachment 88493training with CQ-A
Probably either preparing for competition/deployment overseas ,or just increasing familiarity with different weapons. For opposing forces training ,it doesn't make sense. There isn't a great benefit to sim enemy small arms , the difference isn't big between them for exercise, it all blanks with laser , so ballistics won't matter.View attachment 88493training with CQ-A
