Colonel
Yep those 155mm mobilize self propelled guns can take up a whole lane. Heck even the US Army's original Humvees took almost an entire lane and are wider and better looking than any of those H(1,2,&3) series models that were made for civilian use.

H1 still looks awesome though...

Hey did you guys notice the somewhat odd night vision setup on these guys?

still no headphone style radio or ballistic vest. how much does it cost the US army per set of ballistic vest? Are they passed on to new soldiers if it's still not damaged? how long do these vests last?

This photo taken on September 15, 2011 shows a group of Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) soldiers during an unarmed combat training session at their base in Luzhou, in southwest China's Sichuan province. In its rush for modernization, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), the largest army in the world, began an operation to seduce Chinese students, in an approach that offers an outlet for young graduates who are facing growing unemployment.

The last one of #776, put in this way - did US army & marine during field drill asks local residence for aid? I mean, having some indigenous people helping you in the actual operation times is one thing, ask help from some one else during exercise / drills is another thing.

Most US Army & Marine drills are held on there very large training sites in the US..so you generally won't see that happen in the US.

There are hundreds of photos available on line of US Military interacting with the locals while on patrol.

Lieutenant General
Reminds me of those days where in the US Army where MOPP Level drills were conducted. It's hot inside the mask, but it's not the heat that bothers me, it's those humidity that can fog up on the goggles and you can hardly see anything.
