Apparently, it's a cold launch.

A quick question to the experts, how much is this missile identical to the S-300s?

However they often train with themselves and not against an opposing force.

Actually everyone train with themselves. Very seldom does the US Army personnel gets a chance to train with fellow allies like South Korean (ROK) forces, because those are reserved for combat forces, such as infantry, artillery, armored, and such. It goes for the same in Germany during the old days of the Cold War. Every Army pretty much conduct their FTX (field training exercises) and STRAC (Squad Tactics and Reaction Course, IIRC) or today's term STX. It helps the units to conduct field reactionary exercises in small units at first and then moving into a platoon size elements, and once in awhile depends on the budget (like almost every thing is in the US Army) battalion or even brigade size element.

True!

Not true equation. The US Army is constantly training with other forces.

That's true for the combat and direct combat support units, but what about the National Guards and Reserve when they're not at war? During the 1990's after the first Iraq war I remember it was pretty quiet on small bases like Ft. Polk, LA or Camp Walters in TX. Only when I went into the bigger bases, like Ft. Hood, TX did I see some international soldiers that were there for training (and the US does a lot of it) with the M1-A1 Abram Tanks and Bradley's. Oh, how I love those Abrams at full speed off road and see and feel how much dirt it can kick up, but of course firing the main gun is the best, just don't stand near to it (your ears will be ringing). Anyway, that's was the only time I was inside a tank, thanks to a buddy of mine (tank platoon commander) hook me up.
