I am sorry but that Ocean Camo looks more and more like a Hawaiian Shirt every Time I see it.
You know first time i saw that pic i was expecting the caption too read "Chinese Military Soldier Enjoyed Trip too Hawaii now must return home."

if i remember correctly, longest sniper kill was made at 2430m by a canadian soldier

TAC-50 sniper rifle using 12.7x99 round, shooter was Canadian soldier Corporal Rob Furlong. He required 3 rounds to take out the target with a torso hit.
high caliber rounds can go way beyond the 900m mark, if you want to hit around 900m mark China can just utilize the familiar 7.62x54. There are several version of the 12.7x108 sniper rifles that China has.
