China developing new light tank, one leak pic.
Rumors said the new light tank has finished related ground test including test in Tibet and mountain areas, it will be equiped by PLA Army for the Southwest and South tank groups to replace type59D tank, future own new light tank + ZTZ96A MBT.

Does anyone know how good these operators are? Who trains them or what other groups do they train with? I find it odd that they use standard issue equipment including the rifle. Most special forces use non standard issue gear. Even the SEALs use mainly HK weapons and continue to use M60 which has since been replaced with the SAW in other units.

First US NAVY SEALS Use what every they feel they need too get the Job done. That includes HK's yes but also FN's, Colts and others. SEALS Continue too selectively use M60's as they feel they preform better then others ( The Mk43 as they call it is not the Vietnam era Troubled version but massively redesigned units with enhancements around and liked by the seals smoother edges then the M240) but Seals Also Have Mk48's a kind of FN Minimi chambered for 7.62x51mm Nato.
Seals also Use standard issue then they feel the need. Other SF units World wide also Use there standard issue Russian Speznatzs are known For modifying the standard issue but heavily rely on it.
Also remember Photos like these are looked over and any stuff that there security people don't want seen don't make the print.
