No need to be so sensitive. Rueters has many positive articles and photos posted about the PRC.

I'm sorry if that video offended anyone...Rueters is meerly reporting the news.

No who said the Chinese didnt care for their own people :) Great leader President Hu Jintao issuing PLA troops to help in relief efforts. This should close some mouths of nation leaders saying that they didnt care for their own nations people.

PS: My realitives are stuck somewhere in that mess waiting to get home, fingers cross they get out ok

The female PLA soldiers, they devote all their best time and passion to the country.In my eyes,they are doubtlessly the most beautiful angels in the world.

China has mobolized over 1.4 million military/malita and police to assist in the snowstorm chaos.

The worst prolonged snow, rain and cold weather period in a decade has hit about 17 provincial level regions in China, responsible for the death of at least 38 people and causing direct economic losses of over 32.67 billion yuan (about US$4.5 billion) so far. Hi bd popeye, I know you follow the news of the recent bad weather in south China. And I just saw some comments regarding to the storm on an American car website:

Just wondering is that how normal American see/feel this situation? I mean I was quite surprised to see those comments. At the end of the day it's a disaster to human kind, doesn't matter Chinese or American. Just like when hurricane katrina happened people all over the world felt for those who lost their lives and suffered afterwards.

Anyway, I didn't leave any comment over there. Coz I really don't know what to say, just really disappointed to see those comments.

Kickars all I can say is this sort of disaster happens all over the world weekly. The weather cannot be controlled. Only prepration for the worst weather can be made.

In my honest opinion the PRC government is doing its very best to help all 1.3 billion of its citizens.
