cant understand, cant the PLA give their soldiers some real military standard tactical gloves?

Gloves are gloves whatever it takes to get the job done. I used football gloves (black in color) I when I was conducting field training exercises in the Army Reserve.

I understand your view. But basic equipment are much more than just getting the job done. It presents the image of a military force. US military generally have positive views from around the world, despite of controversial invasions, a lot of that is due to their futuristic looking equipment. Most young boys probably had some sort of dream of joining the military in their childhood, and the first one that comes in mind is probably the US military. Because the media and especially their equipment look COOL. This instantly give people a good feel about the armed force.

It also influences its citizen's confidence in their own military. If you dress like the Sudanese PLA or the Vietnamese People's Army, it's very hard to look professional.

Since soldiers have to have uniforms anyways, putting a few extra dollars into better designs and aesthetics could make a huge difference. The same goes with gloves, goggles, radios, and protective pads. They don't really cost that much compared to major warships and missiles. But they make a huge difference in minimizing injuries and casualties, which is something major in this day and age. Since compensations for soldiers go through the roof, so it's crucial in minimizing every possibility where they can get hurt.

Re: WTF? check it out ~!!!

Looks like a model to me. A real prototype will be much better guarded than the one in the picture. The only sign of protection is in the first pic, 4 -5 police officers in front of it. Usually there be at least few military guys around it, plus another handful of engineers. In these pics, there's no body there. I guess it's probably just a model or statue for a museum, or something similar to this nature.

Yeah, the main point is that this "thing" is rather light weight. If it is as heavy as a real aircraft transportation is such a manner will ruin the air frame. My guess it is a full size mock-up at the most.

I can understand that for PR (Public Relation) purposes yes, but in reality war is about killing people. It's not about looking pretty all the time. Emphasis is based more on killing your country's enemy as best and quickly as possible to minimize lost of lives. All those equipment do add up in costs and money, especially when you think about it putting a million troops in all those.
