There's periscope between the two hatches so I think all three crew members are in the hull and the turret is unmanned. This tank seems to lack the barrel sleeve spotted on the previous photo though. Some cannon on system with unmanned turret like Stryker MGS also has bore evacuator, I think they just use existing stockpile of 105mm barrel rather than making new barrel without the bore evacuator.Next-gen MBT spotted. It has a bore evacuator, but there's 2 hatches at the front. Is it turret manned?

I wonder what the reason is for it to be able to retract; there is a high chance it's for reloading since if it has to poke out before intercepting, it's going to increase the reaction time needed for a successful interception.I think these photos also confirm that the APS is retractable since we don't see it poking out in the first photo

The most striking thing to me is how it clean and well fitted it is. Precision manufacturing out of the world even for something as simple as a tank.Next-gen MBT spotted. It has a bore evacuator, but there's 2 hatches at the front. Is it turret manned?

Are those composite band tracks or distorted/thin metal tracks? Could give a hint on the weight of the vehicle which at this point I am hesitant to call a traditional MBT.I think these photos also confirm that the APS is retractable since we don't see it poking out in the first photo

Yes but weight vs protection requirements derives from doctrine. China faces a completly different scenario than Europe.Well, tanks and Army-stuff is not my topic, but doesn't this MBT looks a bit small & light for a true MBT?
Scale can be sometimes to deceiving in the early two photos, the vehicle seems to be not a Leopard 2 size but not considerably smaller than the current tanks which are only slightly taller but same length as T-72/T-90Well, tanks and Army-stuff is not my topic, but doesn't this MBT looks a bit small & light for a true MBT?
Are we sure this is MBT class? It looks light-ish to me.Next-gen MBT spotted. It has a bore evacuator, but there's 2 hatches at the front. Is it turret manned?
