PLA Next Generation Main Battle Tank

I actually think the vehicles with the metal pieces covering the ventilators did not take part in the parade. They are back-ups/reserves in case something unexpected happens to the partaking vehicles and needs a replacement. So they are much newer than the ones taking part in the parade, Those ones may already be in active service.

Perhaps in extreme situations they could run them without that part complete, it will just operate like a normal tank, and louder.

No, they were the same vehicles (check numbers) but the covers must be removable for some reason. Just like the metal sheet covering the radiators on both the tank and IFVs during transportation, no idea why they do that.

It's a crew of three, if it hadn't been confirmed before.

Does the commander commands just the tank, or also the support fighting vehicle too? And if there is a commander for both vehicle would it be better for him to be in the tank, or in the support vehicle?

In 3 men can fit together nicely on the tank I don´t see why they wouldn´t repeat the same layout on the IFV (I´ll refere to it as "IFV" until they explain if its "ZBD-100" or something else.).
