That's why you need all round vision from cameras. In fact this could have been done much earlier but now these types of optical systems are becoming dirt cheap compared to before.

I watch the gl6 footage but that's was a drone with a rpg I'm talking about a fpv fiber optic drone strapped with a bomb coming straight from the top
A slow flying rpg is exactly the same as a drone to aps systems. Perfectly aligned top attacks are beyond the elevation angle of the gl6 but its difficult to fly a drone so precisely.

There are tons of clips of drones dropping grenades and mortar shells into hatches.
Exactly that's why I wonder if the APS can aim straight up an hit grenades cause I don't see radar at the top of the turret incase a drone is direct at the top of the tank and can it shoot the fpv drone

Check the full livestream at 22:40. There are also multiple people that pointed out before the gun looks larger than normal so it holds weight.
The drone still has to approach the tank at an angle. Theoretically its possible for a purely vertical approach but it requires very high skill for the operator.
