Are there different variants in service? the cheeks beside the gun don't appear to be on the same level like the one from the parade and video on the previous page. It looks like the picture someone sent a bit before in this chat. With this video it seems like there's more than one (It could just be the same one from before but kitted out). I don't understand why they would do this.

It's not multiple types, its simply a new iteration of the design. Type 100 has not been finalized for mass production yet, these are all basically LRIP batches with iterative improvements.

1. The Type 100 tank has not been finalized. Due to the early start of the project, its anti-drone capability is not as strong. It will undergo intensive modifications within this year.

Well I meant a source where that post pulls info from, but nevermind.

More importantly, I don´t know if we got these in this thread but just in case I´ll be posting them here: first looks into Type 100 autoloader:
- Carrousel type
- Rounds arranged vertically
- Stated max round length is 1023mm.

Interesting, this imply the direction PLA might choose for their heavy MBT. Do you think it might have Armata type carousel type autoloader with two piece ammunition, or it might have bustle type autoloader with one piece ammunition?
