However, judging by China's present shipbuilding capability, printing out a couple modernized Yamatos and Bismarcks in a short period of time shouldn't be a problem...

They claim China has a long-time weakness in anti-submarine warfare. Clearly they don't know what they are talking about. Not when all major surface combatants in the PLAN have variable depth sonar, towed array sonar, and China has a wazoo of ASW aircraft.
