How many nuclear-powered submarines can China build at the same time?

I know that Bohai is the only shipyard in China that is responsible for constructing nuclear-powered submarines (I do hope there could be another one), and I have heard that the recent expansion of the submarine contruction penhouse in Bohai would increase the number of submarines that can be built at once.

The question is not how many SSNs they can build at the same time. The question is when they will have a SSN type that they are happy with mass producing. Hence the wait for 095.

The very rarely photographed new small landing craft. The magazine illustration implies that it can ferry two Type-15 light tanks, but this is likely only speculation.

An excellent image. It shows the small landing ship going into the well deck of a 075.

What they have done so far is quite impressive, but nuclear submarines and carriers are the most important portion of a blue water fleet. You can't have blue water operation without carriers and you can't move carriers around without modern nuclear submarine production. If you look at how much Britain has devote to its nuclear submarine programs while cutting back on its surface fleet, it should give an idea of their importance. As PLAN gets more budget in the future, most of that money will need to go to CVN and SSN.
Agreed. Lack of Chinese production of SSNs IMHO means that they aren't yet fully happy with the state of their submarine technology.

Actually we don't know if they are producing or not since its all hush hush.

One reason why they may not be producing that much SSNs is because the gross production is halved between SSNs and SSBNs.

Another is that for the current strategy or doctrine, the SSNs may not have as much bang per buck value in relation to SSKs. That may change.

The third is that we don't actually know, how much SSNs were produced in reality.

The massive expansion of Bohai nuclear submarine production facilities and corresponding assembly halls, strongly suggests large scale production is on the horizon.
Given the amount of submarine parts we've seen outside both old and new halls, it may have already started. However, my guess is that there is currently rather low volume production of 093Bs at present to keep the production lines ticking over and validate the new halls whilst the technology and designs for 095/6 are perfected. When they are, we will see true mass production.
