Maybe, but USN might not have adequate/extra forward deployed deep-sea operation boats to Japan.I think its a fair question @antiterror13 asked - it takes almost as long for the PLAN to sail from Yulin as it would the US 7th Fleet from Yokosuka or some sort of PACOM asset (okay maybe a little longer, but still closer than sailing from the West Coast). Why the Indonesias asked Beijing instead of Washington for help, I don't know.
Because Bali Sea is just off South China Sea, not south Caribbean Sea...
China is a quiet achiever, not a political bragger like some nations you know who.I don't think it is the reason ... the US mas many many bases all around the world
Perhaps now they trust more to the Chinese technologies and willingness to help .. just get the things done and no fuss about it or blaming game
Doubtful that’s the case. US has plenty of subs in the PacificMaybe, but USN might not have adequate/extra forward deployed deep-sea operation boats to Japan.

Apparently Indonesia's current defence minister, Prabowo approve it after China offered to help. This is surprising because he was running on Tough on China platform during previous election and his supporters even spread fake news about the submarine was sunk by Chinese missile/mine a few day ago.Doubtful that’s the case. If this can launch J-35s, then VTOL is not needed and they can project power with a cheaper vessel. Very cool!076 西葛西Guesses Usually Very Close
