It is not a double barreled launcher. The caption read, DF-11 missile transporting truck, holding 2 missiles.

This is a missile transport truck, not sure if it can directly resupply an TEL vehcile though.

That's a pretty old pic, it's just showing the new version of DF-11 that PLA has

What kind of aircraft is that? That wing is way too low to be JH-7 or any member of the Flanker family. It seems even lower than the FC-1. For the life of me, I can't think of anything else in the PLA inventory that would have a wing tip launch rail. And that uniform is from at the latest early 80s. Furthermore, those missiles are early production PL-2s. I don't know how long the PLA kept the original PL-2s around, but this picture could very well have been taken back in the mid 70s or earlier. I also looked up the old J-12, but it doesn't look like it had any tip rail. Any thoughts?

I think the answer to your question lies in the background... you see that plane? I think it's probably a trainer JJ-5?

It actually looks more like a JJ-6, but that's neither here nor there since, AFAIK, J/J-5/6 have no wing tip launch rail.
