BEIJING, Oct. 14 -- The General Office of China’s Central Military Commission (CMC) recently issued the newly revised interim provisions on military leave, which will come into force on January 1, 2023.
The interim provisions have undergone systematic design with improvement, serving to effectively safeguard the rights of military personnel to have leave.
The provisions include 41 articles in 7 chapters. The provisions also put emphasis on the rigid implementation of military leave system, with economic compensation methods for those not leaving as scheduled being adjusted and optimized, so as to make all the military personnel better benefit from the military leave.

So has nothing to do with this bad boy?
This one is one of prototype for getting a 155mm on 8X8 , as far as I know , no father update was seen on this tech tree.

The rest is about it , there was this video of the new 8X8 driving around , but I can't find it now.
I think of the new 8x8 as a major update to the old platform , I suspect it mainly about getting a new transmission & engine, a central tire pressure control , and the possibly adding hydraulic back door.
Type08 8X8 platform was developed back in the late 90s , back then the Chinese truck industry was much weaker then the 2010s.
The new 8x8 might be a analog to what Type04A is to Type04 ,and Type99A to Type99 their connection form engineering point of view is basically in name only ,it is a new vehicle developed using the lessons learns from the predecessor ,you get a much more matured product second time around.

JINAN, Oct. 15 –A monument inauguration was held at the Heroes Mountain Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery a few days ago in Jinan, east China’s Shandong Province, to commemorate the first batch of 49 martyrs confirmed identity from remains recently, who had lost their lives in the Jinan Campaign, 1948, during China's Liberation War. Relatives of the martyrs came from across China to pay homage.
"When I was three or four years old, my father joined the army, and there was not even a photo of him left at home. In the past, I could only place a memorial tablet for my father at home on special occasions, and have never thought of seeing him again,"said 78-year-old Zhai Jianhua, in front of the tombstone of her father, martyr Zhai Haiqing.
"This is the first time I have met my father face to face," 74-year-old Li Qingying said. Born in the year when his father died, now he stands in front of his father's tomb, silently gazing at his father's portrait, with his sentiment turning into tears.
Seventy-four years ago, more than 5,000 service members died during the decisive battle of the Jinan Campaign. They won the great victory of the campaign with blood and life. In those years, wars and battles frequently broke out, and many martyrs became unknown with no way to verify their names.
Since 2021, a martyrs' identification center was established in Jinan, which has identified 49 unknown martyrs by DNA technology.
Han Yancai, chiefof the Jinan Municipal Bureau of Veterans Affairs, said that the inauguration of the monument serves as a new starting point, following which they will continue toidentify more unknown martyrs by coordinating the efforts of all departments and institutions possible.
