Yes. I think it was pointed out as early as January, that the large strike packages were related to US carrier moves and not in relation to more political framing such as POTUS inauguration or Taiwan events. Sure makes sense to me. Notably the US in return with the latest event sent a whole bunch of ISR planes in return.

Yep, every time USN carrier entered SCS, they sent lot of ISR planes
