I have no idea if this is credible but China Aviation News reported that on April 29 at Yanliang an aircraft that travelled at Mach 5 was tested possibly with a scramjet engine.

Chengdu is gonna bring out a single engine 5th gen fighter. The engine is W15. The plane has a delta wing. Weight is below 10 tons. Internal weapons bay can hold 2 medium range missiles
That doesn't sound very useful, to be honest, if it's weapons bay is just two PL-12s.Chengdu is gonna bring out a single engine 5th gen fighter. The engine is W15. The plane has a delta wing. Weight is below 10 tons. Internal weapons bay can hold 2 medium range missiles

As for the scramjet test, it could just be another X-51 equivalent being launched (unless that combined cycle engine drone can reach Mach 5).
