Goes without saying they are out incorrect.
I've had a few people (non PLA watchers) ask to interpret those numbers -- and I say to ignore them cause they're wrong lol
Here's an article (in Chinese) about the J-20. Headline: "性能差异过大，歼20无法代替苏57，可同时装备这两款战机"
Literal translation: "Large difference in capabilities, [rendering it] impossible for the J-20 to replace the Su-57, but both fighters will be equipped at the same time [by the PLA]"
Any thoughts on this?
Also, this is my first post - am I using the right thread?
Addition: the article states how the Russians have begun to export the Su-57 to potential customers such as India , Vietnam, and Malaysia; how the J-20 is meant to be used to penetrate through air defense networks with it's "unrivalled/unparalleled speed", while the Su-57 is meant to openly seize air superiority with aid of its stealth. It talks about its specs for a while, before concluding that if both the J-20 and Su-57 are fielded, it could bring about a "perfect mix, akin to the F-35 and F-22".
Any thoughts on this?

Welcome to the forum.
I wouldn't say if this is the right thread or not, because you are posting a Chinese translation of an article from The National Interest written by David Axe. If you are new to PLA watching, that outlet and that author are among the various outlets and authors whose positions on Chinese military matters are ignored and considered non-credible and generally poor in quality.
My only thought is that this generally shouldn't be posted here because we are better than that.
This isn't an indictment against you, because if you're new to PLA watching you might not understand which sources are considered credible and non-credible.
In other words -- this article isn't even worth discussing.
Some Chinese language insiders/"big shrimps" and occasionally some state media disclosures. Sometimes western defence journalists are useful as well for the ones who are able to attend defense expos and get first hand information from some Chinese defense exporters and export products.
You develop a sense of smell for who is worth reading and not worth reading after a couple or years or five years or so.
But it's far easier to know who not to listen to WRT PLA watching, and for that purpose, I'll briefly list some of the well known names or outlets that you may see in English language (some of whom might be translated into Chinese as well):
National Interest/WarisBoring/Popular Mechanics: David Axe and Kyle Mizokami
SCMP: Minnie Chan
Business Insider: Alex Lockie
Generally speaking, take things written by those people with a healthy helping of salt if you are new to PLA watching because much of their past reporting has either been flawed at best, or inaccurate at worst, and often the interpretations of information are also illogical as well.

I suppose if we're talking English language articles and media; @Deino (aka Andreas) and his articles when he writes them are all very good, and of course he has many successful books on PLA aviation too which are incomparable in the domain.
Otherwise, @huitong and his Chinese military aviation blog is also one of the easy to access English language sites that is considered a key site of reference and a good starting point.
