max. detection range for ZDK-03?
given the overall antenna sligly smaller than KJ-200, detection range (correct me) most probably around 350~370km.

There is a rumor that PAF is going to place an other order for addtional 4 ZDK-03????

OR it's being placed already?

new version adapted the Y-9,(

) as AWAC platform. but the radar antenna uses conventional slotted array antenna,similiar to APY-1 rather than AESA as some been speculate.

ZDK-03预警机由中国独立制造，机上装备了电子扫描有源相控阵雷达系统

从上面的横条型图案来看ZDK-03配备的雷达可能还是采用行波阵波导裂缝天线的机械扫描雷达，我们熟悉的美国E-3A预警机配备的APY-1雷达采有的也是行波阵波导裂缝天线，工作方式估计也差不多，方位采用机械扫描，高低采用电子扫描

The article was talking about zdk-03, not the PLA version, and it mentioned the antenna should be AESA
